Terms of Sales

Article 1 :

The present Terms of Sales are reserved for the exclusive use of rental and accommodation in the gîtes of La Petite Auberge, namely Le Poulailler, Le Fournil and La Grande Maison located in Razac d’Eymet (24).

Article 2 – Duration of the stay :

The hirer who has made a reservation request for a fixed period with acceptance of these Terms of Sales may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

Article 3 – Conclusion of the contract :

The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the rental. To guarantee the reservation, the deposit must be paid within 8 days of receiving the email with the subject line “La Petite Auberge – Your reservation request is submitted”. The hirer will then receive a booking confirmation email with the subject line “La Petite Auberge – Your booking is confirmed” with a booking number.

The rental agreement concluded between the parties may not be transferred, even partially, to third parties, whether natural or legal persons, without the written agreement of the owner.

Any infringement of this last paragraph could lead to the immediate cancellation of the rental at the eAny infringement of the latter paragraph may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement to the detriment of the Tenant, with the proceeds of the rental agreement remaining permanently with the owner.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the tenant :

All cancellations must be notified to the owner, with acknowledgement of receipt.

  • Cancellation before the arrival in the premises:

The deposit remains with the owner. The owner may ask for the balance of the stay if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the planned date of arrival.

If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the booking confirmation e-mail, the rental agreement becomes null and void and the owner can dispose of the gîte. The deposit also remains with the owner who will ask for the balance of the rental.

  • If the stay is shortened, the price of the rental remains with the owner. No refund will be made.

Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner :

The owner will pay the tenant the full amount paid in advance.

Article 7 – Arrival :

The tenant must arrive on the day specified in the time slot mentioned on the booking confirmation email. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must inform the owner.

Article 8 – Payment of the balance :

The balance of the rental is paid on arrival.

  • Bank cheque made out to La Petite Auberge
  • Bank transfer – Download IBAN
  • Credit card: Mastercard, Eurocard, Visa, American Express

Article 9 – Inventory of fixtures :

An inventory of fixtures will be made available to the tenant on arrival. He will then have 48 hours to make any disputes, by sms, email or post. In the absence of a dispute within 48 hours, the inventory of fixtures established by the owner will be deemed accepted by the tenant.
The tenant alone will draw up the inventory of fixtures at the end of the rental period and will send it to the owner on the day of departure. The owner may contest the inventory of fixtures within a period running until the arrival of the next of the next tenant, within a limit of 48 hours.

The state of cleanliness of the gite on the arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory of fixtures. The cleaning of the premises during normal use is the responsibility of the tenant. In the event of abnormal use of the premises, or exceptional soiling, the amount of the cleaning costs will be re-invoiced to the tenant.

Article 10 – Security deposit :

On the arrival of the tenant, a deposit of 150€ is requested by the owner. After the inventory of fixtures has been drawn up, this deposit is returned, less the cost of repairing the premises if any damage has been found.

In the event of early departure (before the time mentioned on the present contract) preventing the inventory of fixtures from being drawn up on the day of the Tenant’s departure, the deposit is returned by the owner within a period not exceeding one week.

Article 11 – Use of the premises :

The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises.

Article 12 – Capacity :

The Terms of Sales is established for a maximum capacity of persons specified in the booking confirmation email. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner may refuse the additional persons. Any modification or breach of this agreement will be considered at the client’s initiative.

Article 13 – Animals :

Pets are allowed at La Petite Auberge as long as the tenant takes care to avoid any type of potential nuisance (noise, smell…)

When booking, the tenant must indicate the number of pets that will accompany him/her. A contribution per day and per animal may then be requested (animal rate, deposit supplement, etc.).

Pets are not allowed to roam freely on the property and must be kept on a lead. The tenant must ensure that they do not leave any dirt.

Article 14: Cigarettes :

The gîtes of La Petite Auberge are non-smoking.

Article 15 – Insurance :

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by him. He must be insured.

Article 16 – Payment of charges :

Water and electricity charges are included in the rental price, for normal use. In the event of abnormal use, the charges may be billed to the tenant.

Article 17 – Disputes :

Any complaint relating to the rental will be dealt with by the competent court.
