This medieval village is very lively, especially on Sunday mornings thanks to its local market. What’s more, its half-timbered houses and narrow streets give it plenty of character. It’s just 20 minutes from La Petite Auberge.
3.Eymet, a warm atmosphere
Eymet is a bastide town known for its friendly atmosphere. It hosts many events in the summer, as well as popular night markets. You’ll often come across visitors from abroad, especially the British.
4.Limeuil, a breathtaking view
Limeuil lies at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. Thanks to its elevated position, it offers superb panoramic views. You can also visit the pretty gardens and enjoy peaceful walks.
5.Trémolat, nature and gastronomy
This small village is ideal for a gourmet break. It is also famous for its views over the loop of the Dordogne. After a walk, you can treat yourself to a tasty local meal.
