Welcome to La Petite Auberge, holiday cottages in Dordogne near Eymet. This 17th-century house has lived many lives: hotel, restaurant, guesthouse… When we moved in, it already had several dwellings. Today, it is both our family home and a place that continues to welcome travellers.
We live here year-round, and we offer three independent holiday cottages, available to rent together or separately. Each cottage has its own space and outdoor area, so everyone enjoys the peace of the property without ever feeling crowded.
Whether you come as a couple, a family of four, or a group of fifteen, you’ll find the right place for you: the Poulailler, a cosy retreat for two; the Fournil, perfect for small families; and the Grande Maison, ideal for large groups and reunions.
La Petite Auberge is only a few minutes from the medieval bastide town of Eymet, at the heart of the Purple Périgord. Here, life revolves around lively markets, vineyards and rolling countryside.
We care about keeping this place true to its values: simplicity, warmth and respect for nature. That means eco-friendly products, supporting local producers and a thoughtful approach to waste.
And if you’d like to plan your stay, have a look at our blog, where we share favourite places, events and ideas for days out around Eymet and Bergerac.
We look forward to welcoming you here — to our home, and to a place that comes alive with each new guest.
See you soon,
Baptiste & Julia
